* The Webster Technique is defined
as a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment that reduces interference to
the nerve system and facilitates biomechanical balance in pelvic structures,
muscles and ligaments. This has been shown to reduce the effects of
intrauterine constraint in pregnant women, allowing the baby to get into the
best possible position for birth.
** The Singapore Chiropractic
Association strives to maintain the highest standards of professionalism of the
chiropractic profession in Singapore. As the chiropractic profession is still a
self-regulating profession here, it maintains the only professional register of
qualified chiropractors. A code of ethics, practice guidelines and a code of
advertising have been adopted.
Professional Membership in the
Association therefore assures members of the public that their chiropractor is
trained to the internationally recognized education standard, and agrees to
practice within the association’s code of ethics, practice and advertising.
