My maid recently closed the door of one of my rooms without knowing that it was locked from inside. This sounds silly but it happened. The keys that came with the door didn’t work and we could not get into the room. So we called the locksmith and he did magic to the door with quite a bit of sweat. After he got the door open, he looked at me and said, “How long have you not oiled the lock?” I though for a few good seconds and said “Well, about 10 years!”
This incident reminded me of how our spines can get misaligned and kinked up and eventually locked and fixated in a certain position.
