OBJECTIVE
To enhance workplace posture and ergonomics for improved employee wellbeing, higher productivity, and to ensure safety for injury prevention.

OVERVIEW
We propose an all-inclusive On-Site Ergonomic Assessment Package aimed at optimizing workplace ergonomics and fostering a healthier environment for employees. Our comprehensive assessment includes a detailed questionnaire, a meeting with stakeholders to ensure the service is aligned with the company mission and values, an on-site posture workshop for employees, and an in-depth on-site ergonomic assessment.

PACKAGE DETAILS QUESTIONNAIRE (PRE-ASSESSMENT):
A comprehensive questionnaire will be provided to gather essential information about existing ergonomic challenges, employee concerns, and workplace habits. The questionnaire will also provide questions about the mission and vision of the organization to align workplace wellness efforts with the company’s mission.

STAKEHOLDERS MEETING: A consultation meeting will be scheduled with key stakeholders to discuss the questionnaire responses, address specific concerns, and align objectives for the assessment. We want to cater the onsite ergonomic assessment to the unique needs of the workplace and to the meet the objectives of the stakeholders.

POSTURE WORKSHOP FOR EMPLOYEES: An engaging and educational workshop focusing on posture awareness, posture exercises that can be performed in the office to prevent neck and back pain, ergonomics best practices, and practical tips to promote healthier work habits will be conducted for employees. The Posture Workshop will be approximately 45-minutes and can be held on-site or virtually. With over 80% of people experiencing neck and/or back pain, the employees will learn practical solutions to prevent painful musculoskeletal problems.

ON-SITE ERGONOMIC ASSESSMENT: the A thorough ergonomic assessment will be performed at workplace, evaluating workstations, equipment, and environmental factors affecting ergonomics. This assessment aims to identify areas for improvement and recommend tailored solutions.
The on-site ergonomic assessment will be tailored to the company, and the Ergo Scan is an employee centered assessment that will be tailored to their individual needs. The on-site ergonomic assessment will explore 4 primary components with the Ergo Scan:
1. Workers’ Functional Capacity
To ensure proper biomechanical movement patterns, encourage “active sitting” to improve metabolic health, and to identify workspace limitations for full range of motion.
2. Employees’ Posture
To assess common work-related postural distortion patterns and to recommend posture exercises and posture habits to prevent painful musculoskeletal disorders.
3. Employees’ Brain Based Needs

To identify factors limiting employee’s focus, to reduce brain fog and cognitive errors, and to promote a more productive working environment in which employees are focused on achieving their outcomes.

4. Workplace Environmental

To assess the workplace for barriers, obstacles, and inefficiencies that may compromise employee safety, cause injury, or limit productivity. To make recommendations for workplace safety and injury prevention.

VIRTUAL ERGONOMIC ASSESSMENT
The ergonomic evaluation can also be performed offsite using photographs (to be taken in a certain format) and a similar questionnaire.

PROJECT SCOPE: TIMELINE: The entire assessment process will be completed within a timeframe agreed upon during the stakeholders meeting, typically spanning over 2 weeks.

DELIVERABLES: A comprehensive report outlining assessment findings and Performance Capability Score, posture and brain-based recommendations for each employee to prevent pain and improve productivity, ergonomic equipment recommendations for maximal efficiency, and actionable steps to improve workplace wellness and enhance employee wellbeing.

RETURN ON INVESTMENT
According to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), ergonomic injury prevention is not just a moral obligation, but a financial one as well. They demonstrate that measures used to prevent injuries come at a savings compared to the direct and indirect costs of the injuries themselves.
OSHA reports that companies that implemented programs experienced:
• A median reduction of 48% in musculoskeletal disorder (MSD) incidence rates
• A median return on investment of $4 for every $1 invested in ergonomic interventions
The Washington State Department of Labor and Industries found that companies that implemented ergonomic interventions showed:
• A median reduction of workers’ compensation costs by 56%
• A median return on investment of $3.50 for every $1 invested in ergonomic interventions
Return on Investment includes:
• Increased productivity
• Decreased absenteeism among employees
• Decreased worker’s compensation costs
